"Once You Go Troll, You Never Re-Roll"

((Nope, no RP this post just some info. on what’s happening))

The Convention Center

Well this has been an interesting week to say the least. The little diva and I left or house in Asheville, North Carolina on Tuesday afternoon and flew to Charlotte to connect to our flight to sunny California where Blizzcon awaited us. Fortunately we had a direct flight right to Los Angeles thanks to my company’s great travel agency,  so our flight here was only about 3 hours long. I made sure to bring my little one’s DVD player and the new Hanna Montana movie so that she would have something to do during the flight and stay occupied.

Everything even went smoothly after we landed to amazing enough!  The car rental was waiting for us with no lines to fool with, (thank God for express check in now!), and Delta didn’t loose our luggage! So we got out of the airport and fought the L.A. traffic and headed for Anaheim which ended up being a hour and half drive because we had to stop & eat before we passed out from the hunger pains.

We got to the Marriot (right across the street from the convention center) and checked in and went downstairs to mingle with a few of the Blizzcon crowd that had already arrived early. There’s quite a variety of different types of Warcraft players here from what I’ve seen so far varying in ages from 18 to 50 ! Most of the players that I’ve come across so far seem to play Horde and are very avid PvP’ers. The raider types that I’ve talked to are extremely hard core and know a Hell of a lot more about the game than I ever will. But it still seems that the big buzz so far is all the rumours that have been floating around about the new expansion and when it will be coming out.

We wanted to make sure to get our badges and goodybags on Thursday rather than in the fight the mess in the morning.  So, after we returned yesterday from our Disneyland adventure we headed for the convention center and picked up our goodies. The lines were sorta long but it moved quickly and we got out of there pretty fast.

So now it’s D-Day finally and 7 a.m. and my body is still saying it’s 10 a.m. Eastern time. But we’re all excited and ready to get over to Blizzcon as soon as we eat some breakfast and get our butts woke up a little more. :-)  I’ll be tweeting off and on during the day about what’s happening and if there’s any new world stopping announcements made, so if you follow da troll on Twitter keep an eye out for me!

  1. BenNo Gravatar Said,

Amazing would have loved to go to BlizzCon, but living in the Isle of Man doesn't help things there :) , I'm kinda split about the new expansion as well, on one hand I'm dreading the new 85 lvl cap as I'm still l lving my troll hunter to 78! but on the other hand it will be fun and keep the game alive, also maybe the goblins will do something new for the horde in battle grounds ;)

Thanks for this insightful post! much respect and mojo!
